Welcome to Hannah Banana Fund Raising

Hello interested reader,
This site has been developed by an adult and a teenager who both have a cancerous brain tumour [malignant]. Importantly, there is something for everyone on this site; it is not just a charity fundraising site. Our aims are three fold.

1. Provide accurate information relating to brain tumours and direct you to specialist information sites.
2. Fundraising that goes direct into brain tumour research for children and adults with brain tumours, through registered research charities.

All can contribute to awareness raising and recognising the impact that this devastating disease has on individuals and their families. You can sign the e- petition, read information on the SDBTT web site and how research into brain tumours is progressing, but sadly for most not quickly enough.

Hannah Jones Wins BBC Switch Live 2009

Hannah Jones

Hannah Jones, who has raised nearly £50,000 for SDBTT since being diagnosed with a brain tumour, won the Teen Hero Award at the BBC Switch Live 2009 Awards, held last Sunday.  This came as a huge surprise to Hannah, as she was nominated by a friend for her inspirational story.  She joins an A-list group of winners, including Cheryl Cole, Robert Pattinson and JLS.

Hannah’s determination to raise such a huge amount of money for SDBTT is documented on her Umbrella Group page here.
